The Happy Basket Project is building Sunflower Centers around the world to bring joy, hope, and prosperity to people everywhere. These Centers are represented by the Sunflower because it is tall, strong and resilient, it flowers towards the sun and it is bright and beautiful.
The design and development of each center will be unique to the needs of the community which it serves. The Centers will be built around the art, culture, traditions, agriculture, and resources available in each community.
However, there are a four fundamental services each center will provide:
- Work – Jobs will be created that tap into the local talents; the art, crafts, music, food etc of the community.
- Education – Academic and literacy, job focused skills and training, human resource management and development.
- Health – Medical facilities, drugs and trained professionals will educate and care for the people Mental health and fitness programs will complete the Health Center programs.
- Food – Nourishment, self-sustaining farming, and transportation services will ensure that people have food and water for their families.
Collaboration by bringing experts from around the world together to solve problems will foster thoughtful innovation in all aspects of our process.
Care for our planet, our natural resources, and our environment will be paramount to each center.
